Production Team Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: Napoleon, Ohio, United States; onsite; full-time role with varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Salary: $60,200–$82,800 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead a 40–60-member production team accountable for safety, quality, sanitation, schedule attainment, and cost performance.
• Lead team meetings, remove operational barriers, and improve team performance through facilitation and coaching.
• Coordinate health, safety, food safety, quality, and technical training, including total productive manufacturing tools.
• Improve line capabilities, reduce changeover time, track daily performance, and communicate results across shifts.
• Manage staffing and labor costs, maintain accurate time and attendance reporting, and address engagement and performance issues.
• Investigate hazards, near misses, incidents, employee concerns, and grievances, implementing corrective actions where needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical ability to learn manufacturing processes and working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Leadership skills in communication, coaching, team building, conflict resolution, recognition, and performance management.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with quality, maintenance, human resources, and other groups.
• Willingness to work onsite in Napoleon, Ohio, across varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Experience in a union manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Kronos knowledge.
