Human Resources Manager

Location: Onsite in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States, during standard business hours; occasional extended hours, evenings, weekends, travel to another facility, or offsite meetings may be required.

What you will do

• Manage HR staff and oversee day-to-day HR operations.
• Advise leaders and employees on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership planning, and retention strategies.
• Guide employee discipline, investigations, conflict resolution, and compliant application of HR policies and employment practices.
• Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and support organizational restructures, process improvements, cultural initiatives, employee engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of progressive human resources experience, including experience partnering with business leaders; 5–7+ years is strongly preferred.
• Experience in employee relations, employment law, performance management, and organizational development is strongly preferred.
• Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Chattanooga and operate in both an office setting and a manufacturing environment with required personal protective equipment.
