HR Manager

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid work with onsite attendance required at the Toronto office on Wednesdays and Thursdays

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 CAD per year, plus variable compensation including short-term and long-term incentives

What you will do

• Advise leaders across assigned business functions on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent strategy, and succession planning.
• Lead talent reviews, development planning, compensation, performance management, and organizational design processes.
• Coach leaders on performance, career growth, employee development, and leadership effectiveness.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, performance issues, and organizational risks.
• Drive engagement, retention, inclusion, recognition, well-being, and change management initiatives.
• Support HR team members and collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR centers of excellence, and business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR Business Partner or HR Manager experience.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and managing complex employee relations matters.
• Strong understanding of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience leading talent management, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
• Strong coaching, communication, influencing, business acumen, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

• Experience supporting technology, product, engineering, customer experience, or corporate functions.
• Experience in a high-growth, innovative, or rapidly evolving organization.
• Experience supporting Canadian and U.S.-based employees and leaders.
• Workday or comparable HRIS experience.
• Change management and organizational design experience.
