Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, and front-end loaders.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and keep equipment operationally ready.
• Monitor incoming waste for unacceptable materials and follow required handling procedures.
• Clean equipment tracks or wheels and perform minor service when needed.
• Complete equipment condition reports and escalate repair requirements to supervisors or the maintenance shop.
• Maintain a clean, serviced, and properly stored work area at the end of each shift.

Requirements

• Two years of related heavy equipment operation experience.
• One year of experience working at sites regulated by OSHA.
• Ability to follow safety policies, company rules, and assigned work schedules.
• Good time management, follow-through, customer service, and communication skills.
• Professional, cooperative, honest, and safety-conscious approach to working with customers and coworkers.
