Equipment Operator (Heavy Equipment)

What you will do

• Operate track hoes, skid steers, telehandlers, excavators, and other heavy equipment across construction projects.
• Prepare job sites and support efficient completion of project work.
• Inspect equipment daily and perform light maintenance to maintain safe, reliable operation.
• Follow safety regulations, PPE requirements, and environmental health and safety policies.
• Submit daily reports covering equipment condition, work progress, and encountered issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Ability to explain operating steps clearly and provide directions.
• Ability to complete purchase orders, timesheets, and other required paperwork.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, confined spaces, limited-visibility areas, noisy environments, and manufacturing, pipeline, and refining sites.

Nice to have

• PEC certification.
• Excavator operating experience.
