Senior Business Analyst, Technology (Financial Services)

Location: Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States; hybrid work with attendance at the St. Petersburg corporate office three days per week.

What you will do

• Create detailed functional and non-functional business requirements for cash management applications.
• Gather and interpret information from databases, interviews, and other sources to make recommendations.
• Support application development teams by documenting business processes and translating between business and technical stakeholders.
• Help develop estimates, implementation plans, project schedules, reports, and technical documentation.
• Work with UX and design resources to visualize requirements through prototypes.
• Validate test cases and apply risk, issue, and change management practices.

Requirements

• More than five years of relevant technical business analysis or technical analysis experience is highly preferred.
• Financial services experience is highly preferred.
• Experience gathering business requirements and working with IT and business stakeholders at various levels.
• Experience with data analysis, data mapping, and querying relational databases including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, hybrid methodologies, software testing, project planning, risk management, issue tracking, and change management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer and Information Science, or required high school education.

Nice to have

• Experience with Mainframe, HP NonStop, or SIS Back Office.
• Experience with SSRS, Tableau, or other reporting and data visualization tools.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
