Complex Adult Health/Critical Care Clinical Faculty (Nursing)

Location: Troy, Michigan, United States

Compensation: $560–$7,245 per assignment, depending on the credit hour assigned to the course.

What you will do

• Implement the nursing college’s philosophy, curriculum, learning outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise nursing students providing patient care.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Develop clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
• Grade assignments, quizzes, tests, lab work, clinical paperwork, and other written work.
• Coordinate with clinical agencies, course coordinators, and academic leadership regarding student and site concerns.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Michigan required.
• At least two years of recent professional registered-nurse experience in the area of instruction within the last five years.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required at certain clinical partner sites.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.

• Teaching or precepting experience.
