Complex Adult Health/Critical Care Clinical Faculty (Part-Time)- St. Louis, Missouri

Location: Onsite clinical teaching in St. Louis, Missouri, USA; 12-hour rotations, most commonly 7 a.m.–7 p.m., for three to four consecutive days.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on the credit hours assigned to the course.

What you will do

• Teach Complex Adult Health clinical content in partner clinical settings.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision while students deliver nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance against course objectives and provide documented feedback.
• Provide remediation and maintain current knowledge of clinical agency policies and procedures.
• Prepare clinical assignments, grade coursework and clinical documentation, and communicate student or agency issues to course leadership.
• May teach didactic course content under the supervision of a course coordinator.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Missouri.
• Illinois RN license is required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• At least two years of recent professional registered-nurse experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Subject-matter expertise with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.
