What you will do

  • Operate and develop condition monitoring programs for John Crane clients with the Lead Condition Monitoring Engineer.
  • Conduct routine condition monitoring surveys at customer facilities and analyze vibration data.
  • Report vibration and oil analysis results with corrective maintenance recommendations.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal teams to deliver on-site condition monitoring services and support troubleshooting.
  • Conduct periodic pump performance testing and prepare on-site reports.
  • Calculate the cost benefit of implementing maintenance recommendations and follow the Integrated Management System.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience with rotating equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vibration Analysis ISO 18436-2 Category 2 certification or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of experience in vibration analysis and condition monitoring of rotating equipment, preferably pumps and compressors.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and specialist vibration monitoring software.
  • Mechanical seals experience is advantageous; lubrication analysis certification and experience with thermography, rotor dynamics, laser alignment, or electrical testing are preferred.
