Customs Brokerage Agent - Night Operations (Logistics)

Location: Uniondale, New York, USA. In-office position with Sunday hours from 8am–5pm and Monday–Thursday hours from 5pm–2am.

Salary: USD 48,000–51,000 per year.

What you will do

• Receive import documents, log files in hirify.global’ systems, and transfer data from commercial documents.
• Complete pre-entry and post-entry requirements accurately and on time through customs entry processing.
• Maintain compliance with internal operating standards, government regulations, and customer requirements.
• Execute customer standard operating procedures and support daily workflow and department metrics.
• Build relationships with customers and governmental Customs organizations.
• Identify opportunities for system, process, and operational efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Professional oral and written communication skills in English and the candidate’s native language.
• Exceptional internal customer service, organizational, needs analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to type accurately and efficiently at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Ability to work the stated in-office Sunday and Monday–Thursday night schedule.
