Associate Director, HEOR (Canada)

What you will do

• Lead local HEOR strategies, evidence-generation activities, and value dossier development for vaccines and pipeline products.
• Support pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, vaccine recommendation, tender, contracting, and institutional customer engagement activities.
• Design and execute local HEOR studies, economic models, real-world evidence strategies, and evidence communication plans.
• Represent HEOR on Medical, Market Access, Pricing, Marketing, Clinical Development, and Commercial teams.
• Manage external research vendors, consultants, and partners delivering economic modeling, evidence synthesis, and value assessment work.
• Develop data visualizations, payer-facing content, stakeholder tools, and publication plans.

Requirements

• Ph.D., Sc.D., Dr.P.H., an advanced life-sciences degree, or a clinical degree combined with a related master’s degree.
• At least 5 years of progressive HEOR experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, vaccines, or healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system, reimbursement pathways, public health decision-making, NITAG/HTA processes, and NACI.
• Experience with real-world evidence, economic models, value dossiers, tender submissions, and reimbursement or vaccine recommendation materials.
• Knowledge of HEOR methodologies, evidence-based medicine, patient-reported outcomes, data analytics, and stakeholder communication.
• At least 2 years of work authorization is required for this role.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical, vaccines, or healthcare industry.
• Experience managing external vendors, consultants, and research partners.
• Experience communicating complex data through visualization and storytelling.
