Associate Director/Senior Manager, Health Economics & Outcomes Research-Organ Health (Precision Diagnostics)

Location: US Remote

Salary: $157,000–$218,000 USD annually. An additional compensation range of $191,800–$239,800 USD is also listed.

What you will do

• Lead the development, validation, and application of budget impact, cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, ROI, decision-tree, Markov, and other health economic models.
• Integrate HEOR objectives, healthcare resource utilization, economic endpoints, patient-reported outcomes, quality-of-life measures, and cost-data collection into clinical and real-world research.
• Analyze clinical-trial, observational, and real-world datasets covering healthcare utilization, cost of care, treatment pathways, comparative effectiveness, survival, and quality-adjusted life years.
• Lead publication strategies and develop manuscripts, abstracts, conference presentations, white papers, technical reports, and other scientific evidence.
• Translate HEOR findings into payer value propositions, value dossiers, reimbursement materials, health economic briefs, and health-system tools.
• Coordinate HEOR strategy with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Market Access, Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory, Business Development, investigators, and external research partners across U.S. and international markets.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Pharmacy, Health Services Research, or a related discipline.
• 5–10+ years of HEOR experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical devices, consulting, academia, or a related healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated experience developing health economic models and conducting outcomes research using clinical-trial or real-world datasets.
• Experience supporting payer evidence generation, reimbursement strategy, value dossiers, market access initiatives, and scientific publications.
• Strong scientific communication, cross-functional leadership, payer strategy, and understanding of U.S. and international reimbursement and HTA frameworks.
• Experience with precision medicine, molecular diagnostics, companion diagnostics, ctDNA, MRD, dd-cfDNA, next-generation sequencing, biomarker-guided treatment, or organ health diagnostics is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Excel, TreeAge Pro, R, SAS, STATA, Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and statistical analysis software.
• Experience with ICER, NICE, CADTH, PBAC, IQWiG, or Japanese reimbursement processes.
