Senior Utility Coordinator

Salary: $94,459.48–$107,953.69 per year

What you will do

• Lead utility coordination activities across multiple roadway and bridge replacement projects.
• Identify and resolve utility conflicts related to roadway and bridge improvements.
• Develop utility coordination deliverables and support QA/QC packages.
• Run utility coordination meetings, monitor project progress, and report findings and schedule impacts to clients.
• Train, mentor, and monitor junior utility coordinators.
• Support regional utility coordination leadership with staffing, budgets, schedules, business development, and client interactions.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of civil engineering or utility coordination experience.
• Associate degree with five years of utility coordination experience; a four-year bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of the utility coordination process from design through construction.
• Competency in SCDOT plan reading and knowledge of utility and infrastructure construction methods.
• Ability to manage schedules and budgets and travel approximately 20%.
• Experience with SCDOT or a similar agency is preferred; experience with MicroStation, GeoPak, InRoads, Civil 3D, or AutoCAD is also preferred.
