Senior Specialist, Logistics Operations

Location: Warsaw, Poland; the role follows a 70/30 in-office work model.

What you will do

• Execute daily logistics operations across a GDP-compliant global distribution network, including shipment bookings, export documentation, customs clearance, distribution coordination, and exception management.
• Act as the key user and first-line super-user for SAP, the hirify.global Logistics Control Tower, and real-time logistics visibility platforms.
• Develop and improve operational reports, KPI dashboards, master data, transportation lane mappings, packaging instructions, and self-service reporting tools.
• Support API, EDI, RPA, AI-agent, automation, and data-integration initiatives that improve logistics visibility and operational control.
• Monitor shipments and logistics service-provider performance, identify delays, resolve exceptions with 3PLs and customs brokers, and contribute to cost and service-level improvements.
• Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation while supporting audits and regulatory inspections with system-generated evidence.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in distribution, logistics, and/or supply chain.
• Experience in cGMP and cGDP environments, with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chains.
• Knowledge of warehouse and transportation operations, including import and export customs handling.
• Previous experience with SAP or a related ERP system is required; experience with transportation-management, warehouse-management, or visibility tools is valuable.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly, and develop practical solutions.
• A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, logistics, business management, or a related field is preferred.

• Pharmaceutical, biotech, or biopharmaceutical medicine transportation experience.
