Sr Associate Supply Chain I (Procurement) (Biotech)

What you will do

• Manage supply planning, procurement, and inventory levels for raw materials and single-use production parts.
• Use SAP, Rapid Response, Ariba, and related systems to procure materials, create and monitor purchase orders, and manage supply agreements.
• Develop inventory plans, monitor lead times and safety stock, and release forecasts and orders to suppliers.
• Create and improve inventory processes and tools, including Kanban and min/max analysis.
• Lead or support cross-functional initiatives with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Process Development, Engineering, suppliers, and customers.
• Track performance metrics, analyze data, resolve supply issues, and support material receipt scheduling and testing.

Requirements

• High school/GED plus 4 years of Supply Chain or Procurement experience; or an associate degree plus 2 years; or a bachelor's degree plus 6 months; or a master's degree.
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts and inventory management theory.
• Proficiency with computer systems such as SAP, Rapid Response, Excel, or comparable tools.
• Strong communication, analytical, critical-thinking, negotiation, and issue-resolution skills.
• Understanding of cGMP guidelines and raw-material qualifications for the pharmaceutical industry.
• Project management skills and the ability to work across multiple Supply Chain functions.

Nice to have

• Degree in mathematics, science, data science, or engineering.
• Experience with biotech or healthcare inventory, especially single-use production parts.
• Experience with Operational Excellence methodologies and process optimization.
