Supplier Manager III - US Sourcing Hub

Location: Clayton, North Carolina, United States. Onsite work in an open office environment; travel up to 10% may be required.

What you will do

• Manage supplier capacity, purchase forecasts, and alignment between supplier capabilities and production demand.
• Monitor supplier compliance, delivery performance, quality, and adherence to purchasing agreements.
• Lead supplier risk management, crisis coordination, and supply-chain optimization initiatives.
• Drive qualification of new suppliers, raw materials, and supply chains in collaboration with quality, sourcing, and materials stakeholders.
• Coordinate supplier meetings and quality and responsible-sourcing audits.
• Prepare reports and presentations, communicate with stakeholders, and build consensus for operational improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain, supplier management, key account management, purchasing, or logistics.
• Associate degree candidates may be considered with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with raw-material supplier management or purchasing, practical problem solving, process improvement, and translating technical information into operational actions.
• Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or a similar system is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and experience managing supplier collaboration and cross-organizational projects.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical or other regulated-industry experience.
• Project management experience and knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Experience with Ariba, eSourcing, or contract-management systems.
• Knowledge of US and EU regulations, guidelines, and GMP practices.
