Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: Rushville, Indiana, USA; onsite full-time

What you will do

• Generate, maintain, and analyze financial and operational reports for monthly business reviews and process improvement.
• Support annual budgeting, standard cost updates, and monthly forecasting.
• Perform weekly and monthly financial close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, operational reporting, and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Complete inventory reconciliations, investigate variances, and support cost and general ledger accounting.
• Develop financial models and analytical tools to support business decisions and manufacturing planning.
• Partner with manufacturing engineering, production control, manufacturing, quality, and department leaders on business cases, KPIs, and financial insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent accounting experience.
• At least three years of financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including linked spreadsheets, data downloads, complex formulas, and pivot tables.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial and operational data from multiple systems, build financial models, solve analytical problems, work independently, and collaborate across functions.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States is required; sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• CPA and/or MBA.
• Knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting theories and practices.
• Experience with Power BI, data visualization tools, multiple databases, large data sets, inventory analysis, and manufacturing cost accounting.
