Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close procedures and review account reconciliations.
• Conduct functional analysis of P&L and balance sheets to establish judgmental reserve balances.
• Partner with various departments to implement effective financial analysis tools and procedures.
• Record financial transactions accurately in internal and external books using US GAAP.
• Ensure identified control and internal audit gaps are remediated in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
• Manage data flows and identify meaningful business trends and insights.

Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree in accounting or finance.
• 3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience (or 2-year Finance & Accounting Development Program + 1 year experience).
• Must be based in or able to work at the Texarkana, AR plant.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Hyperion Planner, and SAP.
