Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN) – Paragon Infusion Centers

Location: Onsite at 8434 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, Missouri, with coverage also listed for Independence, Missouri. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, with 1–3 shifts per week. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the posted locations.

A healthcare company providing injectable and infusible drug therapies through specialty pharmacies, infusion centers, and home-based care.

What you will do

• Administer ordered infusion therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policies.
• Complete patient admissions and perform physical assessments for patients and new consultations.
• Document clinical data, treatment responses, observations, and follow-up actions in medical records.
• Monitor patients, report significant changes, and communicate status with the IV care team and Center Director.
• Verify medication orders, educate patients and families about therapy plans, and participate in quality improvement.
• Provide on-call coverage, support nurse practitioners during leave, assist with new market launches, and travel to other worksites when needed.

Requirements

• MS in Nursing and at least 2 years of nursing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with IV therapy.
• Current, active, unrestricted nurse practitioner license in the applicable state; multistate licensure is required when working across multiple states.
• Current, active Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Successful completion of a tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination or signed waiver.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of IV therapy experience.
• Experience with ports, PICC lines, and peripheral lines.
• Medication mixing and titration experience.
