PRN Nurse Practitioner (Occupational Health)

Location: PA-Aspers, United States; onsite work at assigned hirify.global clinic locations

Pay range: $57.00–$76.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide primary, acute, and occupational healthcare for employees and eligible family members, including examinations, assessments, diagnoses, treatments, prescriptions, and referrals.
• Evaluate and treat workplace injuries, illnesses, exposures, musculoskeletal conditions, wounds, and foreign-object injuries.
• Conduct occupational health screenings, fit-for-duty and DOT examinations, vaccination reviews, wellness exams, and preventive care activities.
• Order and interpret diagnostic laboratory tests, interpret spirometry and resting EKGs, and manage appropriate treatment plans.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation case management, return-to-work consultations, disability documentation, and communication with employers and insurers.
• Lead or supervise clinical staff, approve standing orders, audit medical charts, maintain supplies and equipment, and support health and safety programs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing or a related field.
• Nurse Practitioner medical certification and a license in the state of assignment are required.
• Board certification in the relevant medical specialty.
• Federal DEA certification and ALS, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
• Independent prescriptive authority for medications and controlled substances under the applicable state nursing board.
• At least 2 years of experience in internal medicine or family/general practice; occupational medicine experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in occupational medicine, primary care, or urgent care.
• Clinical team leadership, supervision, training, and mentoring experience.
• Experience with electronic medical record software, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365.
