Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN) - Paragon Infusion Centers

Location: Onsite in Round Rock, Texas; candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the posted location. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. The PRN schedule may require travel to other worksites and locations.

What you will do

• Administer ordered IV therapies according to clinical protocols, INS standards, and company procedures.
• Complete patient admissions, physical assessments, and clinical consultations.
• Evaluate patient responses to therapy, identify changes, and coordinate follow-up with the Center Director and IV team.
• Document patient data, treatment findings, and observations in medical records while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
• Verify medication orders, educate patients and families, and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Provide coverage for nurse practitioners on leave and support new market launches when needed.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing and at least two years of nursing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current, active, unrestricted nurse practitioner license in the applicable state.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Experience with IV therapy is required; multi-state licensure is required when providing services in multiple states.
• Completion of a tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination or signed waiver.

Nice to have

• IV insertion and maintenance experience, including ports, PICC lines, and peripheral lines.
• Experience managing infusion reactions, titration, medication mixing, and infusions.
• Ability to obtain credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other major payors.
