Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (Dermatology)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts; all duties must be performed at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location

What you will do

• Provide episodic and ongoing dermatological care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Conduct patient interviews, health-history reviews, physical assessments, and clinical evaluations.
• Develop and document diagnoses, treatment plans, referrals, medication plans, and follow-up care.
• Prescribe medications and implement therapeutic treatments in consultation with supervising physicians when required.
• Provide patient and family education, telephone consultations, emergency responses, and coordinated multidisciplinary care.
• Document care, monitor patient satisfaction, support clinic efficiency, and participate in performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Massachusetts licensure and authorization to practice as a Certified Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts.
• State and federal DEA certificates required.
• At least two years of relevant work experience, including experience in dermatology.
• Ability to lift approximately 20–30 pounds, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; work location sponsorship requirements must be met before employment.
