Freedom Boat Club - Fleetio Maintenance Technician at Punta Gorda Burnt Store, FL

Location: Punta Gorda, Florida; full-time onsite work in a marina and on fixed or floating docks. Local travel is required, with outdoor work near and on the water in various weather and tide conditions.

Salary: $16.00 per hour

What you will do

• Troubleshoot vessels and perform light maintenance.
• Enter and update completed maintenance work in Fleetio fleet management software.
• Welcome members and guests and address their service needs.
• Communicate clearly by phone and in person using professional etiquette.
• Follow company, safety, quality assurance, and confidentiality standards.
• Work with dock staff and supervisors to support shared operational goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• At least 21 years of age, with successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to use a tablet and Fleetio software, including reading and manipulating handheld computer screens.
• Effective communication, friendly customer service, self-direction, and ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to maintain a clean work area, follow safety policies, and work cooperatively with others.

Nice to have

• Fleet maintenance background.
• Boating experience in and around boats.
• Experience using software applications and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and positive during periods of high activity.
