Mobile Technician Sr

Location: Hicksville, NY 11801; travel to corporate offices and branch locations within the assigned footprint is expected.

Pay range: $18.43–$35.45 per hour.

What you will do

• Inspect facilities, sidewalks, parking lots, grounds, equipment, and work areas to identify maintenance and safety issues.
• Perform skilled building and equipment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical repairs and installations, painting, plastering, machine servicing, carpentry, and HVAC work.
• Complete exterior cleaning, remove obstructions and debris, and perform minor repairs to maintain safe facilities.
• Assess repair needs, escalate complex situations, coordinate with outside vendors, and requisition supplies and equipment.
• Train, assign tasks to, and provide guidance for lower-level General Maintenance Technicians.
• Prepare schedules for special assignments and comply with OSHA, regulatory, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, HiSET, TASC, or foreign equivalent.
• At least 4 years of building repair and maintenance experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC, along with strong mechanical skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to read blueprints, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and operate seasonal equipment.
• Availability for on-call work, flexible schedules, and travel to assigned corporate and branch locations.

Nice to have

• Senior- or lead-level facilities maintenance experience.
