Field Engineering Manager

Location: Corporate Office - Parma; overnight travel up to 25% may be required

Annual starting salary: $80,000–$90,000

What you will do

• Lead and oversee field technicians supporting assigned school sites.
• Maintain technology, brand, equipment setup, and user-experience standards through routine inspections.
• Ensure operational readiness of hardware, software, networking, and security systems.
• Manage service checklists, site-visit protocols, escalations, documentation, and ticketing data.
• Mentor internal technicians and oversee external service providers, contracts, timelines, and service quality.
• Provide field insights for equipment lifecycle planning, procurement, forecasts, and technology improvements.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing technical staff and partner vendors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, emotional intelligence, and situational awareness.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 25% and adapt work hours to school-site needs.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
