Engineering Manager (.NET)

Location: Fully remote, anywhere in the UK. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Salary: £75,000–£95,000 per annum, plus an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global is recruiting for an MS Partner investing in its in-house technology team and expanding into new sectors through large US and French projects.

What you will do

• Lead, coach and mentor software engineers across multiple product areas.
• Build a high-performing engineering team and support recruitment, onboarding and career development.
• Define target architecture, architectural principles, design standards and technical guardrails for digital platforms.
• Guide technical decisions and reviews while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and resilient.
• Partner with Product, Delivery, Support and Professional Services to turn roadmap priorities into deliverable outcomes.
• Improve planning accuracy, release confidence, CI/CD, automated testing, observability and incident response.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and managing software engineering teams in a modern product organisation.
• Strong C#/.NET development experience.
• Strong experience with software architecture and system design.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native application development and modern web and API-based platforms at scale.
• Strong understanding of security, performance, resilience and operational best practices.
• Excellent coaching, mentoring, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, ERP, CRM or vertical SaaS markets.
• Experience with Azure-hosted applications, mobile applications and customer-facing digital products.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, architecture governance and engineering standards.
