Manufacturing Engineering Technician - Weekend Day Shift

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States. Onsite weekend day shift covering Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Hourly pay: $20.84–$28.66 for Level 1, $25.31–$34.80 for Level 2, and $30.87–$42.45 for Level 3.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on technical support to production teams and support engineering project implementation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes for parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
• Commission and troubleshoot post-process equipment and support the implementation of new processes and equipment.
• Identify manufacturing and quality issues, develop cost-effective solutions, and reduce scrap.
• Work with Production Associates to resolve issues involving methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and product design.
• Use data-driven root-cause and corrective-action tools while supporting cost reduction and workplace safety initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a hands-on technical manufacturing role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations.
• Experience supporting new process and equipment implementation.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Commitment to health, safety, and workplace safety procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience in metal additive manufacturing.
• Experience qualifying equipment for medical manufacturing.
• Hands-on machining experience.
