Business Performance Improvement - Supply Chain & Operations (Manufacturing Artificial Intelligence) Manager (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance at hirify.global offices and client sites, including possible local or out-of-state travel. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $134,000–$214,000 annually, plus a 12% bonus target; estimated total cash range of $150,080–$239,680.

What you will do

• Advise manufacturing clients on complex supply chain, operations, and process improvement challenges.
• Own AI use cases end to end, from value framing and prioritization to measurable cost and efficiency outcomes.
• Analyze plant-floor and manufacturing data, identifying opportunities to improve asset utilization, throughput, productivity, quality, and waste.
• Develop data strategies, dashboards, analytics, and AI/automation solutions that fit existing client systems.
• Establish AI governance, risk controls, and human-in-the-loop decision checkpoints.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, projects, teams, client relationships, proposals, and business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, business, or a related field; relevant real-world experience is emphasized.
• 5+ years of experience in consulting, manufacturing, operations technology, manufacturing AI, digital twins, or a related field.
• Direct plant-floor and operations technology experience, including OT data, PLCs, manufacturing AI/ML techniques, or discrete-flow simulation modeling.
• Experience using AI and data to solve manufacturing problems and connect solutions to measurable business value.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, NVIDIA, or Microsoft Data Foundry, plus Microsoft 365, Excel, Power BI, and Azure/Fabric data and AI tooling.
• Leadership, client communication, project management, manufacturing financial analysis, and direct supervisory experience.

Nice to have

• Broader experience in warehousing, logistics, planning, or procurement.
• Professional certification such as CPM, CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, TPM, or Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma.
