Folder Gluer (Bobst) Operator - Night Shift (Printing and Manufacturing)

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina, United States; onsite, full-time, 3rd shift

Salary: USD 24.00–35.00 per hour, plus a $3.00 third-shift differential and a $4,000 sign-on bonus paid after joining.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, and operate auxiliary binding and bindery machines.
• Operate automatic adhesive-binding equipment used to produce books, magazines, and catalogs.
• Coordinate multiple machine stations, including feeding, milling, roughening, gluing, covering, and stacking.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues and maintain operating accuracy using standard and specialized tools.
• Direct the production crew while monitoring quality, output, and productivity.
• Train and mentor new and existing employees on policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of bindery machine setup, adjustment procedures, capabilities, and limitations.
• Experience with binding, folding, collating, cutting, stitching, drilling, and gluing equipment.
• Knowledge of paper weights, sizes, types, colors, moisture, curling, and related machine adjustments.
• Ability to use hand tools and specialized manufacturer-provided tools to make difficult machine adjustments.
• Ability to read work instructions describing machine-operation sequences and dimensional requirements.
• Availability for the 3rd shift: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
