Senior Technical Recruiter (Aerospace)

Salary: $107,000–$127,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
• Source, identify, and engage technical candidates across engineering, software development, aerospace, and related disciplines.
• Assess candidates’ technical ability and aptitude for complex engineering roles.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including screening, interviews, candidate evaluation, consultation, and offer negotiation.
• Build candidate pipelines through job boards, social media, conferences, networking events, and targeted sourcing campaigns.
• Manage multiple high-priority technical requisitions and support talent acquisition projects in a high-growth startup environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution.
• At least six years of technical recruiting experience in the aerospace, space, and/or defense industries.
• Prior experience in aerospace or a similar engineering discipline.
• Experience recruiting for aerospace, electrical, mechanical, software, and other engineering roles.
• Strong networking, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage passive candidates.
• Must meet U.S. Government space technology export regulation eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience recruiting electrical engineering specialists in Digital Hardware, Power Electronics, FPGA, RF, or Antenna Design.
• Experience planning networking events, identifying industry experts, and creating focused sourcing campaigns.
