Technical Academy Lab Technician (HVAC)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States; onsite, full-time

hirify.global operates a Technical Academy supporting HVAC education, laboratory training, equipment testing, and prototype development.

What you will do

• Set up, maintain, and organize classrooms, laboratories, fabrication areas, equipment, tools, and training materials.
• Support instructors with research and development, testing, maintenance, and hands-on technical training sessions.
• Assist with prototype development, equipment operation, practical demonstrations, and data analysis.
• Locate parts, diagrams, and drawings in the hirify.global database and maintain technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and operational issues, implementing solutions to maintain project continuity.
• Ensure training activities, equipment operation, and laboratory work comply with quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in HVAC or an equivalent technical-school qualification, or at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, mechanical systems, electrical controls, and thermodynamics.
• EPA 608 and A2L license or certification.
• Experience teaching or training in a technical field, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to students and speak comfortably to large groups.
• Ability to work onsite in Tulsa, stand for extended periods, and travel to other facilities or off-site locations as needed.
