Location: Aberdeen, Maryland, USA; onsite

Salary: $61,800–$113,100 (Zone C), $68,000–$124,500 (Zone B), or $74,200–$135,800 (Zone A) annually, depending on work location.

What you will do

  • Lead site health, safety, and environmental compliance across applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage wastewater permits, Tier II reporting, SWP3, SPCC, hazardous waste programs, and other environmental compliance activities.
  • Maintain plant permits and serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspectors.
  • Develop safe-work processes, conduct HSE audits and plant assessments, and address unsafe conditions or behaviors.
  • Lead safety incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive sustainability, continuous improvement, safety culture, training, and communication initiatives while tracking HSE performance metrics.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting HSE programs in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HSE or a related field, or equivalent experience with relevant training or certifications.
  • Working knowledge of EPA, RCRA, Tier II reporting, environmental regulations, and local permitting requirements.
  • Experience conducting plant inspections, environmental sampling, and compliance audits.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to train employees and manage multiple priorities.
