EHS & Facilities Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island, United States; on-site 5 days per week. The facility is ITAR-controlled, and candidates must be a US Person under 22 C.F.R. 120.15.

What you will do

• Lead facility maintenance programs, procedures, documentation, budgets, capital projects, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Manage maintenance staff through workload planning, performance management, and training, while coordinating contractor activities.
• Oversee environmental health and safety programs, training, permits, vendor contracts, regulatory reporting, and OSHA recordables.
• Drive ESG, sustainability, and continuous-improvement initiatives across facility and EHS operations.
• Conduct safety inspections, investigate incidents, complete RCCMs, implement corrective actions, and maintain emergency response plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, regulatory agencies, and engineers while providing 24/7 support for critical facility issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, facilities management, environmental or safety management, or a related industrial field.
• Experience leading safety and/or environmental management systems.
• Strong technical ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair machinery, including CNC equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations, reporting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong communication, interpersonal, and public-speaking skills.
• US Person status is required because the Warwick facility is ITAR-controlled.
