Sr Director - Talent Acquisition

Pay range: $171,233.25–$309,666.00 annually

What you will do

• Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and growth plans.
• Establish recruitment metrics, provide leadership reporting, and use analytics to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead employer branding initiatives and position Flagstar as an employer of choice.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team.
• Drive HR modernization, process transformation, technology adoption, and cross-functional change initiatives.
• Audit talent acquisition processes, address emerging risks, and implement compliant procedures and training.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent four-year education.
• 12+ years of leadership experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources; banking experience is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing or leading a team.
• Experience with HR modernization and HR systems, including Applicant Tracking Systems, Learning Management Systems, and Workday.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, presentation, analytical, relationship-building, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Less than 10% travel; no unusual physical exertion is required.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or postgraduate equivalent.
