What you will do

• Develop and optimize IT/OT integration architectures connecting manufacturing equipment, MES, and enterprise systems.
• Define and standardize interfaces and data models for both new and legacy manufacturing systems.
• Anticipate technical integration challenges and proactively define mitigation strategies.
• Lead the technical delivery of automation projects throughout the full lifecycle from specification to commissioning.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies in industrial data systems, cloud integration, and smart manufacturing.
• Provide technical consulting and mentorship to cross-functional teams and junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, IT/OT integration, or manufacturing data systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C#.
• Strong understanding of system integration technologies, relational databases, and data processing systems.
• Knowledge of industrial networking, communication protocols, and cybersecurity principles in industrial environments.
• Proven ability to drive technical improvements and deliver project results in a manufacturing setting.

Nice to have

• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as mixing, assembly, curing, and finishing.
• Experience with MES, data historians, or manufacturing data platforms.
