Automation Solution Engineering Intern (Manufacturing Automation)

What you will do

• Identify automation opportunities through shopfloor observation, process analysis, and value stream evaluation.
• Analyze manufacturing processes, material flow, labor utilization, and operational challenges to develop practical automation solutions.
• Design automation concepts, process flow diagrams, architectures, layouts, and system integration strategies.
• Evaluate robots, machine vision, AGVs/AMRs, conveyors, sensors, barcode scanners, and automated workstations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, productivity analyses, headcount-saving estimates, and ROI calculations.
• Prepare technical proposals, presentations, drawings, business cases, reports, and project tracking materials.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a master's degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Intelligent Manufacturing, or a related major.
• Basic knowledge of factory automation, robotics, conveyors, sensors, barcode scanners, machine vision, AGV/AMR, or PLC systems.
• Ability to use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Visio, or similar engineering drawing and flow-design tools.
• Strong analytical, logical-thinking, initiative, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
• Fresh graduates or students with strong learning ability and hands-on experience are also accepted.

Nice to have

• Experience in automation projects, robotics competitions, manufacturing-related projects, or engineering practice.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production flow, or industrial equipment.
