Budget Execution Data Analyst [DOE0062061] (Power BI)

Location: Predominantly onsite at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington, United States; some remote support may be approved by the Contracting Officer.

What you will do

• Support budget formulation, execution, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audits for DOE Environmental Management programs.
• Develop and optimize data models for complex financial reporting.
• Transform and integrate data for analysis and reporting in Power BI.
• Automate financial dashboards used for DOE reporting and decision-making.
• Provide funds control, finance, procurement, contract administration, and audit coordination support.
• Support fiscal year-end surge activities and collaborate with IT and program stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of federal finance or budget experience; DOE experience is preferred.
• BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA is helpful.
• Experience with funds control, reconciliations, Excel, and business intelligence tools.
• Strong accuracy, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work predominantly onsite at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.
• Facility Clearance is required; DOE clearance may be required depending on the assigned work.
