Design Project Manager (Rail) (Rail Infrastructure): Leading the delivery of major rail and transport infrastructure projects across NSW with an accent on multidisciplinary team leadership, project governance, commercial performance, and client relationships. Focus on managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, design interfaces, and complex stakeholder requirements through project completion.
Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Flexible work arrangements include start and finish time flexibility, work from home, and flex time.

What you will do
- Lead major rail and transport infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
- Own project scope, program, budget, commercial performance, quality, risk, and client satisfaction.
- Establish project execution plans and provide governance, assurance, and strategic guidance.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams spanning civil, structural, building services, environmental, and specialist disciplines.
- Manage project interfaces, external subconsultants, stakeholders, and client relationships.
- Support bids, pursuit strategies, proposals, repeat-work opportunities, and integrated client solutions.
Requirements
- Significant project management and/or design management experience in the rail sector.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex infrastructure projects through design phases.
- Strong commercial acumen covering budgets, fees, schedules, and risk.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and consultant interfaces.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
