Project Manager Mechanical (Data Centre Construction on site)

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid role with a full-time onsite presence required 5 days a week in Western Sydney.

What you will do

• Support delivery of mechanical packages on large-scale projects, ensuring safe, timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.
• Monitor daily mechanical site activities and track programme, quality, safety, coordination, and progress issues.
• Coordinate mechanical design, technical submissions, sequencing, and interfaces with consultants and contractors.
• Support testing, commissioning, inspections, verification, documentation, and handover.
• Coordinate mechanical snagging and close-out activities with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Identify and escalate mechanical risks, interface issues, variations, and delays, supporting their resolution.

Requirements

• Comfort working onsite full time, 5 days per week, in Western Sydney.
• At least 4 years of construction project management experience with an MEP skillset.
• Experience working on high-tech construction projects is preferred.
• A degree or comparable experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, project management, or a construction discipline.
• A project management professional certification, or active pursuit of one.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with teams and clients through openness and a shared purpose.
