Project Manager

Location: On-site five days per week at the Russell office in Canberra, Australia

What you will do

• Coordinate and report on work packages, priorities, dependencies, risks, and blockers across Commonwealth and delivery teams.
• Translate emerging requirements into practical actions and assess the delivery impact of changing priorities.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships and facilitate conversations about constraints, trade-offs, and achievable outcomes.
• Maintain a program-level view across interconnected workstreams and support delivery coordination.
• Apply pragmatic governance and planning practices, adapting structure to the needs of the situation.

Requirements

• Current and active AGSVA NV1 security clearance is required.
• Full-time presence on the client site in Russell, Canberra, is required.
• At least 7 years of experience delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity, respond calmly to change, and communicate delivery impacts clearly.
• Collaborative, hands-on approach and willingness to work across functional boundaries.

• Experience in Defence, particularly across multiple interdependent workstreams.
