Sr Mgr, Supply Chain Development Leader (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Zug, Switzerland; onsite/hybrid role. Other Swiss posting locations include Allschwil, Basel-Country, and Schaffhausen.

What you will do

• Design and execute end-to-end global supply chain strategies for new pharmaceutical product launches, covering production, packaging, distribution, and physical and financial flows.
• Lead launch readiness and commercialization across markets, aligning supply chain design with commercial objectives, market access, growth targets, and patient needs.
• Build and lead global cross-functional teams and external partnerships across manufacturing, regulatory affairs, quality, compliance, finance, commercial, delivery, and CMC functions.
• Establish governance, communication, standardized processes, and best practices while escalating and resolving launch risks, issues, and trade-offs.
• Integrate distribution readiness, global trade compliance, and import/export requirements into launch execution.
• Use launch metrics, digital tools, analytics, and risk assessments to improve execution, operational resilience, resource allocation, and investment decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, science, or a related field; an MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressive leadership experience, including 5 years in supply chain management.
• Experience leading global cross-functional teams and external partnerships across multiple regions.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and align diverse business partners around enterprise priorities.
• Deep understanding of global pharmaceutical supply chains, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks.
• Up to 10% international and domestic travel may be required.
