Business Development Director (Technology)

Salary: $156,000–$303,310 per year

What you will do

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the technology sector for Tax, Assurance, and Consulting practices.
• Build and expand relationships with technology companies, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, incubators, investors, and industry experts.
• Lead client discovery, presentations, proposal strategy, pursuit development, and deal closing.
• Develop territory sales plans, manage client-facing pipelines, and provide weekly updates to senior management.
• Maintain existing client relationships, monitor consultant performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Negotiate service agreements and statements of work while maintaining accurate opportunity records in Salesforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of experience in technology-focused industries or professional services supporting these sectors.
• Experience selling or delivering tax, assurance, and/or consulting services in technology-driven or IT environments.
• Strong sales, interpersonal, relationship-building, and KPI performance skills.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.
• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
