Solutions Consultant (Retail Technology)

Location: Melville, New York, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and remote work on Wednesday and Friday

Salary: $130,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead product demonstrations tailored to prospects’ business needs and use cases.
• Run discovery sessions, gather requirements, and design solutions using platform capabilities and standard integration methods.
• Create solution documentation and support RFP responses for prospective clients.
• Help clients configure and optimize the platform, including workflow changes and change management.
• Resolve complex implementation challenges and guide integrations with third-party systems.
• Develop partner enablement materials and turn client challenges into product requirements and reusable solution patterns.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in solutions consulting, sales engineering, implementation, or pre-sales.
• Working knowledge of retail operations, including point of sale, merchandising, order management, or CRM.
• Experience leading product demonstrations for specific audiences and use cases.
• Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and documenting them for technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with integrations, APIs, and data flows between systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, adaptability, and continuous-learning skills.
