Capstone Clinical Nursing Instructor

Location: In-person clinical teaching at healthcare facilities in Arlington, Virginia, USA; candidates must live within reasonable proximity.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach and mentor BSN students during their final inpatient clinical practicum.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and performance evaluations.
• Create clinical assignments and provide timely, documented feedback and remediation.
• Coordinate with clinical-site personnel regarding policies, procedures, expectations, and student issues.
• Support curriculum implementation, assessment activities, retention efforts, and college development.
• Serve as a professional role model while collaborating with faculty, staff, and administration.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Virginia is required.
• At least two years of recent professional registered-nurse experience within the instructional area during the last five years.
• Residence within reasonable proximity to Arlington, Virginia, with availability to teach at assigned clinical locations.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and student support.
