High School Spanish Teacher (Spanish)

Location: Camden, NJ, USA; on-site, full-time

Salary: $63,000–$101,000+ annually, with additional opportunities for up to $5,500 in annual performance-based pay.

What you will do

• Create, internalize, modify, and prepare Spanish lesson plans aligned with the academic curriculum.
• Use student data to provide responsive instruction and teach academic skills to mastery.
• Monitor student progress, maintain performance trackers, and adjust teaching strategies.
• Build a supportive learning environment through collaboration with students, families, colleagues, and grade-level teams.
• Maintain classroom management systems and support diagnostic and progress-monitoring assessments.
• Participate in school, department, parent, and community events, including activities outside regular class hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; official transcripts are required before the start date.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 for graduates after 2016, or 2.75 for degrees conferred before 2016.
• Appropriate state teaching certification issued or in process.
• Spanish subject-matter expertise and a minimum of two years of teaching experience.
• Demonstrated interest in working with students from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
• Collaborative approach and a record of success in the classroom.
