Salary: $52,000–$68,000 per year

What you will do

• Implement the school’s curriculum and activities to meet high academic standards.
• Analyze assessment results and use data to differentiate instruction.
• Respond strategically to student learning needs and maintain a strong focus on student achievement.
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment aligned with school values, expectations, and conduct standards.
• Communicate with students, families, and colleagues while supporting grade-level and school-wide activities.
• Participate in a three-week August orientation and ongoing instructional training throughout the school year.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed before employment begins.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Strong knowledge of and enthusiasm for the relevant academic subjects.
• Commitment to K-12 student development and alignment with hirify.global’ educational philosophy.
• Self-motivation, collaboration, personal responsibility, and openness to feedback.
• Prior education or teaching experience is not required for new teachers; experience in schools or urban communities is preferred.

Nice to have

• At least two years of teaching experience in an urban public or charter school.
• Proven record of high achievement in the classroom.
• Valid state certification or a master’s degree.
