Operations Support Laboratory Technician, Sample Milling

What you will do

• Track the receipt, storage, use, expiration, disposal, return, and archiving of test materials using appropriate software.
• Receive materials, create identification records, log items, and store them appropriately.
• Transfer materials between departments, manage check-in and check-out requests, and maintain related paperwork.
• Return, dispose of, or archive materials when studies are finalized.
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform routine balance calibration tasks.
• Assist with unloading trucks and storing materials according to requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn new techniques, manage multiple tasks, keep accurate records, and follow instructions.
• Ability to comply with SOPs, Good Laboratory Practices, Current Good Manufacturing Practices, and applicable USDA, DOT, EPA, MDNR, OSHA, and FDA regulations.

Nice to have

• College laboratory coursework or familiarity with a laboratory environment.
