Sample Registration Support Technician (Unpacking)

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite, Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m.

Salary: USD 17.75–19.53 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Unpack environmental and pharmaceutical sample kits and coolers received at the laboratory.
• Compare sample containers with client paperwork, organize samples on carts, and transfer them to Sample Registration.
• Measure and record sample temperatures and report samples received above temperature limits.
• Document discrepancies, damage, short holding times, and rush samples for the Sample Registration team.
• Clean coolers and kits, complete return shipping slips, and support labeling, filing, and bottle preparation.
• Follow GMP/GLP requirements, SOPs, safety procedures, and efficient laboratory practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and stand or walk for a full shift.
• Basic computer skills, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to retain information.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume laboratory environment.

Nice to have

• At least one year of related laboratory experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
