Production Operator - Coating (Manufacturing)

Location: 250 Chester St, Painesville, Ohio, USA; full-time onsite role. Possible shift: C/D Team, 5:50 PM–6:00 AM, following a 1-3-3 schedule.

Hourly starting rate: $24.16/hour plus a $2/hour shift differential.

What you will do

• Inspect products before shipment to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
• Operate, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain complex production machinery, including preventative maintenance.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action investigations for critical quality issues.
• Develop quality control plans for new products and processes with engineering and production teams.
• Analyze production data and quality metrics using statistical process control and other quality tools.
• Train employees, support problem-solving teams, and implement improvements in quality, productivity, and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least three years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for up to 80% of the shift.
• Ability to obtain a lift truck operator’s license.
• Willingness to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
• Computer proficiency, dependable attendance, flexibility, and a service- and quality-focused approach.
• Comfort working in varying temperatures and performing frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting.
