Machine Operator II (Precision Manufacturing)

Location: Oxford, Maine, United States; Workplace: On-site

What you will do

• Safely and independently operate at least two types of production equipment or manufacturing cells.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor production processes and report quality or equipment concerns.
• Complete quality inspections, sign-offs, and production activity tracking.
• Support production through material cutting, facing, straightening, drilling, polishing, blasting, and inventory handling.
• Coordinate with supervisors, inspectors, and coworkers while maintaining a clean and safe work area; assist with onboarding new operators as needed.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and mechanical drawings.
• Basic math skills and the ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and production standards.
• Ability to perform physical duties in a manufacturing environment.
• Availability for an on-site first shift, Monday through Friday, with start times between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
